Welcome to the Child Support Lien Network
Ohio
What Happens Next?
The Ohio County Child Support Enforcement Agency (CSEA) submits delinquent obligors to the Child Support Lien Network on a monthly basis. Once a match is identified, an Income Withholding Order (IW) is sent out by the CSEA, to the appropriate insurance company with a copy to the obligor. Ohio law states that the IW is the legal vehicle by which child support agencies may intercept insurance settlement funds for payment of child support arrearages. Payments are sent to the Office of Child Support, Child Support Payment Central. Insurance companies must comply with the provisions of 3121.03
